Sri MGR Year 95, 6th August, Monday
The 6th function conducted by Olikirathu Urimaikural was a Stupendous success. MGR Fans Association from Tamil Nadu, Karnataka and Pondicherry have participated in the function and made it a grand success.
Earlier MGR Fans meet was held in Royapettah from 10 am to 2.30 pm. The meet was presided by MGR’s body guard Ramakrishnan. He gave a heart touching speech about MGR which most of the MGR Fans including me not heard of. Ramakrishnan had spoken for half hour and I took nearly 11 minutes of his speech which will be uploaded soon in our MGR Blog.
In the above image Olikirathu Urimaikural Editor B.S.Raju introducing Mr.John (MGR Fan from Srilanka) who came to attend this function on the request of MGR’s grandson MGCB Pradeep. In his speech John have mentioned that the Eelam Tamil people remembers the deeds MGR have done to them. And also said the Tamil people will not forget MGR and his fans.
Author Mekala Chitravel gave a ten minute speech on Puratchi Thalaivar MGR’s acting talent (the image was already updated in Facebook) here she extends a helping hand to some of MGR Fans.
In the above image is Namakkal MGR who came for MGR fans meet. He told how he maintained his physique to resemble MGR (he looked entirely different without the makeup). He also said that he had done surgery to his face to match MGR face.
