Sri MGR Year 94, 4th March, Friday
MGR Birthday function was celebrated in Theni on 26.2.2011, welcome address for the event was by Tirupur Ravichandran. The Chief Guest was Thiru.N.R.Alagarraja, Ex-MLA (THENI) He released the book titled 'Kalathai Vendra Kaviya Nayagan MGR” written by Theni Rajadasan. The first copy was received by Velayutham, T.V.Krishna from Madurai.
Other important Guests who attended the MGR Birthday function are Mr.V.Subburaman Chairman of Karpagam and Vasantham Groups, Mr.V.Muthukrishnan - Sivasakthi Stores, Dr.R.Balakrishnan - Theni, Mr.Thavamani and Brothers - Sindhi Flour Mills - Theni, Thiru.C.Rajesh Kanna - Arumugam Bearings and Mr.S.Manoharan - Sriram Lodge.
During the function MGR Award was given to the Guests and to MGR Fans.
