MGR Birthday function was celebrated on 26th February 2011 in Theni, the function was conducted by Doctor MGR Ninaivu Kalangiyam, Tamil Nadu Police Pokuvarathu Kapalargal (Theni) and Makkal Thilagam MGR Manithaneya Mandrangal (Coimbatore, Tirupur and Theni).
Large collection of MGR Books and Photos were displayed neatly.

Kalathai Vendra Kaviya Nayagan MGR book was released during the function.
