MGR fans and devotees had a grand celebration in Nathamedu, Thirunindravur on 1st May. 

Sri MGR Temple in Nathamedu celebrated the 50th golden jubilee anniversary by cutting a cake. The function was organised by Mr.Kalaivanan and the movie was screened later. Some of the images shared by MGR Devotee Venkat.

Loyalty And Royalty

How many of us will extend our earnings to charity? Most of us will share a part from our earning but not all. But when extreme loyalty to Sri MGR the God of the poor can make us to give our entire earning to noble cause.

K.P.Ramakrishnan one of Puratchi Thalaivar MGR's bodyguard have written two interesting books on our Makkal Thilagam MGR tilted "MGR Oru Sagapatham" and "Manitha Punithar MGR" published through Vikatan Publications. 

As when the time came up for renewal in royalty, K.P.Ramakrishnan has asked the publisher to give his royalty amount to Vishrathi Home for the aged.

Eventhough it is not perfect MGR look alike but it gave me goose bumps on the climax scene. The final words of the judges is worth to see.

What's In A Station's Name?

"Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogogoch" this is a Railway station name in Wales having 58 letters. Honestly I don't know how to pronounce and what is the meaning. This 58 letter railway station holds the record of worlds longest railway station name. 

The second is 57 lettered "Puratchi Thalaivar Dr.M.G.Ramachandran Central Railway Station". Lots of MGR fans have uploaded videos and images pertaining to the recently changed station name. The railway ticket, video showing Central Station, video of announcement of MGR Central.
