Olivilakku Chennai Release VII

Sri MGR Year 95, 7th October, Sunday

Below is the video clips from MGR’s 100th movie Olivilakku. The video clip further goes into the introduction of other characters first the old women and other characters of Muthu’s (MGR) neighbours. Followed by Cho’s introduction.

When I was editing the video clip I found something odd about MGR and Cho conversation scene, it appeared to me as a single take when I watched again there was 3 shots but on closer observation they have used two cameras and the scene was one take with 3 shots combined.

 

The scene starts from 1.16, there was two cameras one on MGR side mounted on trolley and another on Cho side. When the scene starts the camera on MGR side, first camera,(position A) zooms in on two characters i.e. MGR and Cho, the second camera cuts in with close up of Cho and MGR and now the first camera (moved from the earlier position A to B) cuts in with zooming out, trolleys from MGR and Cho. Since both the actors are drama artist it is simple for them to execute this scene.

Olivilakku Chennai Release VI

Sri MGR Year 95, 6th October, Saturday

I have captured some video clips from the movie Olivilakku, which is  running successfully in Mahalakshmi theater for the 2nd week.

 

This movie is MGR’s 100th movie. There are lot of one liners, one such is when MGR asks Sowcar Janaki to come with him, she hesitates and MGR says நான் கெட்டவன் தான் ஆனா கேவலமானவன் இல்லை. One line, this kind of one liners prevalent in MGR movies.

When I watched the movie I felt MGR was looking more handsome, more energetic than other movies.

Olivilakku Chennai Release V

Sri MGR Year 95, 5th October, Friday

Today is the 2nd week of Olivilakku in Mahalakshmi theater. The ad was given in Daily Thanthi Chennai Edition. Below is the image.

 

 

 

And above is the image captured by me in Mahalakshmi theater from today’s matinee show.

 

This will be a record for MGR, with this kind of print and blaring audio a movie reaching second week in 900+ capacity theater can only be achieved by our beloved Leader Puratchi Thalaivar MGR. Hats off to his fans for providing such a overwhelming support for the distributor and theater owner.

 

The movie has lot of cuts and the cuts are prevalent in song scenes. The videos will be uploaded soon.

Olivilakku Chennai Release IV

Sri MGR Year 95, 2nd October Tuesday

MGR’s 100th movie Olivilakku is re-released in Anna and Mahalakshmi theater this week. We have already updated the news in our MGR Blog.

 

On Sunday the celebration of MGR Devotees and Fans was telecasted in Polimer TV. Below is the video showing the devotion of MGR devotees, the Housefull board and interview with Women MGR Fans.
