Sri MGR Year 97, 1st December, Monday

We had already uploaded episodes 1 to 6 of Thadam Pathithavargal a program telecasted in Vendhar TV, in our MGR blog. Below is the two episodes of the program.

 

Episode 7:

In this episode MGR movies released in 1965 to 1970 are shown and importance given movies such as Enga Veetu Pillai, Ayirathil Oruvan, Anbay Vaa, Kavalkaran and Petral Than Pillaiya?. They also narrated the shooting incident happened in 12th January 1967.

Below image to your left is used for showing the MGR and M.R.Radha shooting incident. To the right for the 1967 General election. They touched some part of the election campaign.

 

 

 

Above screen captures are from episode 7, the program exhibited some action scenes from Ayirathil Oruvan and the famous duet song from Anbay Vaa. They did not mention any thing about Emgeeyar Pictures Adimai Penn and Vijaya productions Nam Nadu both movies released in 1969. They also talked about the 1970 election.

Episode 8:

As expected they were in hurry to complete the story of MGR biography in episode 8. The timeline is 1970 to 1987. Many reasons are there to name one is much politics has to be dealt with.

They showed some video clippings from Engal Thangam, Rickshawkaran, Ulagam Sutrum Valiban, Urimaikural, Ithayakani and Maduraiyai Meeta Sundarapandian.

 

For visual representation of 1972 event they showed MGR resigning from the Chairman post scene from Nam Nadu. The program mentioned about the best actor award of 1971 that is Bharath award was given to our Puratchi Thalaivar MGR for the movie Rickshawkaran.

   

Some information about Ulagam Sutrum Valiban and Urimaikural movie record was given. They visualized the first ADMK victory in Dindukal from the movie Netru Indru Nalai. Video clippings from Sathya Movies Ithayakani was presented for our delight. The scenes include, the first song “Neenga Nalla Irukanum”, MGR disguised as M.G.Red.

 

Interestingly the program used Nalai Namathey scenes to show that our God MGR technically used film title for his political messages for the masses.

 

Rare videos of MGR giving speech to mass gathering appeared as a lighting. From 1975 they jumped to making of Maduraiyai Meeta Sundarapandian and the General election. And also shortly they showed some scenes of MGR recuperating in Brooklyn hospital in United States and then the election result.

Finally you know what they showed, as to the ending MGR’s body guard K.P.Ramakrishnan narrated the final hours of MGR with tears brimming in his eyes.

Thadam Pathithavargal - 3

Sri MGR Year 97, 19th November, Wednesday

Vendhar TV broadcasts Thadam Pathithavargal a program featuring ordinary people excelling and achieving pinnacle of success through their hard work, dedication. In this feature our beloved Puratchi Thalaivar MGR life history is being shown regularly.

We have already uploaded the episodes 1 to 4 from Vendhar TV youtube site in our MGR blog. In this post we will be uploading episode 5 and 6.

Episode 5

In this episode they continued with the movies released in 1962, importance was given to Rani Samyugdha, Thayai Katha Thanaiyan and Kudumba Thalaivan.

 

 

Episode 6

In the sixth episode they telecasted many scenes from Vikramadityan how the hero succeeds in the quest. Another movie Pasam the program showed MGR’s acting capability showcasing important scenes to emphasize their statement.

The episode ended with Panathottam and Koduthuvaithaval the movies that were released in 1963.

Thadam Pathithavargal – 2

Sri MGR Year 97, 13th November, Thursday

 

We have already uploaded Thadam Pathithavargal 2 weeks video earlier in our MGR blog which was telecasted in Vendhar TV on Sunday 1 pm. Following MGR’s entry into cinema and success movies the following program looks into MGR successful career.

 

In part 3 they gave a glimpse of making of Nadodi Mannan and about the mannerism MGR did in that movie. I did my best to capture the image, MGR doing his style. They also showed the accident that our beloved leader MGR met in Sirgazhi on 16.6.1959 and how he came back powerfully through his sheer will power.

 

 

 

In part 4 the program dealt with 1961 movies the transformation from period movies to social oriented themes. They showed some scenes and songs from Thirudathae and Thai Sollai Thatathey.

During the end of the program MGR’s bodyguard K.P.Ramakrishnan’s son Govindaraj narrated some of the benevolent deeds of our God, that had happened during when MGR was the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu.

Compilation of real stories of men and women who had achieved the pinnacle of success through their hard work and dedication, their raise from ordinary to extra ordinary were featured in a program titled Thadam Pathithavargal, telecasted in Vendhar TV.

The first to be featured in the list is our beloved Leader Puratchi Thalaivar MGR. Given here is the promo from Vendhar TV.

Second episode:

In the above video they have given some information from movies such as Malai Kallan, Marma Yogi, En Thangai and Madurai Veeran and how MGR used medium to reach the mass.

Vendhar TV

Sri MGR Year 97, 9th October, Thursday

Vendhar TV is going to telecast a new program titled “Thadam Pathithavargal”. The program is an effort to present the stories of men and women who had achieved the pinnacle of success, their raise from ordinary to the extraordinary. The first episode will be our Puratchi Thalaivar MGR story.

Thadam Pathithavargal will be telecasted every Sunday the duration of the program is half hour, 1 pm to 1.30 pm. Please watch the program. The news was forwarded by MGR’s bodyguard K.P.Ramakrishnan’s son Govindaraj.

According to Vendhar media site the program is scheduled to be aired on 12 pm.
