Already MGR Devotees and MGR Fans have protested against the mimicry show of various talented artist who appeared in Sun TV and Vijay TV and showed their discomfort through Newspapers and magazine. To my knowledge all the mimicry artist imitate only the post 1967 voice of MGR, nobody so far had spoke the unique voice of MGR (before 1967).
I think that even a child can imitate post 1967 voice of MGR. Recently in Vijay TV a very talented Mimicry artist named Siva Karthikeyan imitated our Beloved Leader MGR in a unacceptable manner, he took up the song “Loosu pennae” and tried the style of MGR Dance from Anbay Vaa, just only the waving of hand part he did but not the difficult twist dance part which MGR did when he was 55 years old.
Most of the MGR Fans Association has lodged a complaint against Siva Karthikeyan and gave a copy of the complaint to Vijay TV management. MGR’s Grand Son and Official Speaker of AIADMK MGCB Pradeep, B.S.Raju Editor Urimaikural Magazine, Professor Selva Kumar, S.S.Perumal, T.Nagar Ramamurthy, Kumar, Loganathan (Kalaiventhan MGR Bakthargal Trust), Yukesh Babu and Venkat (Ponmanachemmal Sri MGR Bakthargal) and others were present during the protest in front of Vijay TV.
