Anonymous said...: If you really want to make the comparison then you can adjust the collections made by today's stars with the inflation rate and the genuine rise in ticket price. I'm a big fan of MGR but that's more than being just seeing his movies. Having said that we have to admit that Rajnikanth is breaking all sorts of records in box-office and he has already achieved certain scales which no other actor (including MGR) has ever achieved in Tamil film industry. Purely on being the most successful superstar ever Rajni wins the race hands down. But MGR is more than just a super hero that gave super hit movies.. isn't it? Atleast I'd like to think so :); 12:33 AM
