After MGR became Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu in 1977. His last movie Maduraiyai Meeta Sundarapandian was released in January 1978. Then we only have opportunity to see MGR movies only in re-releases.
After his period in films, Rajini and Kamal ruled Tamil movie world. Those period we can see them using MGR movie material and dialogs. And now both of them are in stage of announcing separate political party.
Couple of days back MGR Devotee Yukesh Babu have shared one image, a poster showing MGR garlanding Kamal and a captivating MGR period caption “Nalai Namathey”
We can clearly construe what they have in mind “MGR’s vote bank”. As of this day Kamal’s party name is Makkal Needhi Maiam, the flag showing colours of Black, Red, White and a Star.
